About Me

Growing up in Toronto, Canada, I was deeply influenced by my father, a compassionate and dedicated family physician. From an early age, he didn't shy away from sharing the realities of primary care – the long hours, the demanding workload, and the constant threat of burnout.

Following my father's guidance to not become a doctor, I pursued a degree in electrical engineering. This path led me into a managerial role within a software company, where I found success but lacked a sense of fulfillment.

As time passed, a longing to ‘be like my dad’ persisted within me. In my late 20’s, I made the decision to forego my career in tech and try to become a family physician.

Today, I’m deeply driven by a need to improve primary care.

Outside of medicine my passions include following my favorite sports teams (Penn State, Maple Leafs, Blue Jays) and listening to audiobooks. I currently live in State College with my lovely wife and 4 children.
